We're thrilled you're interested in enrolling your student in Vaux Big Picture High School. Read on to learn more about the enrollment process and other helpful information.
 
ENROLLMENT PERIOD
 
Vaux Big Picture High School runs on a two-semester schedule, approved by the School District of Philadelphia and consistent with our Real World Learning and project-based learning models. While students can enroll on a rolling basis, it's preferable to enroll at the beginning of the year or at the semester break, typically in January. 
 
 
Transportation
 

In accordance with School District policy, students who live greater than 1.5 miles from Vaux Big Picture High School will receive weekly SEPTA Student Trans-passes. All students who do not quality for a Student Trans-pass will receive SEPTA Key Cards for all school-mandated travel, including for Real World Learning site visits and internship travel.

Vaux Big Picture High School accepts students in grades 9-12.

You can enroll your student online through the School District of Philadelphia website or in-person Monday-Friday from 9am-2:30pm.

*Please note that any student who is not a current Vaux Big Picture High School student is considered a NEW student by the school district.

That means whether you are eighth grader going to high school for the first time, a current high school student transferring to Vaux from another School District of Philadelphia School, or a student who is new to Philadelphia, ALL students must complete "New Student Registration" documentation.
